Here’s a growing collection of random creative things I’ve embarked on.

THE SHIP AND THE DINOSAUR
I heard that a poem I wrote once got me hired. If this gives you a glimpse into the whimsical absurdities (and occasional philosophical tangents) of my mind, then I’ll happily include it for good measure.

The ship and the dinosaur were out at sea
Where they chanced upon the window of eternity.
Who said, “such noisy creatures were never meant to be on a ship out at sea.”
But the dinosaur, no he
Refused to be disrespected in such petty manner.
“For I am the king of the heavens that are, and will be.”
But there was no need for such dispute,
For ship, dinosaur and sea must agree
That one thing is for certain;
To be, or not to be,
So challenges the existence
Of he, who perceives himself to be bigger
Than he, or me, or we.

#PREETIPLSMEETEMMA
I love poking fun at influencers. When Preetipls, Singapore's ‘anti-influencer’ influencer, started gaining traction, I thought, why not embrace the irony and make myself her superfan? But I wanted her to seek me out, so I created a video in her signature style—ridiculous subtitles in both English and Mandarin that didn’t match, forcing viewers to replay it just to get the full picture. I dropped the video on my birthday with the hashtag #PreetiplsMeetEmma. Local news outlets picked it up. KOLs shared it. The next day, Preetipls came to meet me. With cupcakes. My name made it to her website as her number one stan. #PreetiplsMetEmma.

RESPECT FOR ALL
Tasked to work on a video for Tharman Shanmugaratnam, a Singapore presidential candidate. And yes, he won.
